The revival is slated to open in 2022
Don't rain on her parade! The long-awaited revival of FUNNY GIRL is coming to Broadway next year and has found it's leading lady! Beanie Feldstein, who's been seen on stage in the revival of HELLO, DOLLY! and on screen in movies such as Booksmart and Lady Bird, will be tackling the titular role of Fanny Brice. The role was originated and immortalized by the great Barbara Streisand and the musical hasn't been revived since its original run in 1964.

An exact opening date has not been confirmed yet, but it's currently slated for a spring 2022 opening.
