Harry Potter re-opening on Broadway as one show!

The show will reopen on November 16th, 2021

Mischief managed! Last week, we learned that HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD will reopen on Broadway this fall! The show will continue to play at the Lyric Theatre, however there is one big change coming to the show.

Grab your wand and get ready for magic to return to Broadway!

When HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD opened on Broadway, it was presented as a two-part play. Audience members would get two separate tickets, one to Part One and one to Part Two. This structure made for an epic theatre going experience. However, in a post-pandemic world, that structure is being changed. Instead of being two-parts, the show will reopen as one part. During the pandemic, playwright Jack Thorne, director John Tiffany and original book series author J.K. Rowling have been hard at work to create a condensed, one-sitting experience of the show.

Making the show one part allows for less audience traffic and less of a chance of new people coming into the theatre. We can't wait to see what this new condensed version of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is like!
