Webber DJ'd the opening night block party after The Phantom Of The Opera returned last week
Last week, The Phantom Of The Opera returned to Broadway after being shut down since March 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Following the performance, audiences were treated to a block party outside of the Majestic Theatre on 44th Street. At the center of the party was Andrew Lloyd Webber, composer of The Phantom Of The Opera. However, the theatre legend wasn't giving a toast or taking red carpet photos - he was DJ'ing the event.
DJ Andrew Lloyd Webber!
Social media exploded with photos of Webber, donning headphones and perched on top of a platform at the center of the block party. There was dancing, music blasting through the speakers and great energy all around. The celebration is fitting for the return of one of Broadway's most famous musicals.
