LACKAWANNA BLUES is a hit!

Ruben Santiago-Hudson's show is currently playing at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre

Ruben Santiago Hudson's solo show officially opened on Broadway last week! The show, which started at the Public Theater, is an exploration of Hudson's youth while living in a boarding house. Hudson plays numerous characters throughout the show, including "Nanny", the owner of the boarding house.

Make sure to catch LACKAWANNA BLUES!

Hudson's continuous popping in and out of different characters is truly remarkable to see on stage. Hudson may be in his mid-60s, but his vigor and stamina are that of a much younger man. The tone of the piece is still incredibly relevant to today's current times. The show features a score by Bill Sims Jr. played by Junior Mack.
