PASS OVER celebrates first Broadway preview!

The show had their first preview performance at the August Wilson Theatre on Wednesday, August 4th

Broadway is back! Last Wednesday, PASS OVER, a new play by Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu, had it's first preview performance. The play is inspired by WAITING FOR GODOT and the Exodus story and centers around two men, Moses and Kitch, and their relationship and interaction with a stranger who disturbs their night. PASS OVER marks the opening of the first Broadway play since March 2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic.

PASS OVER is currently playing at the August Wilson theater and will officially open on Sunday, September 12th

The show celebrated it's first preview performance with a post-show block party outside of the theater. Once the performance ended, the audience was invited outside the theater to enjoy music by S.N.O.B. and food provided by vendors such as Haswell Green's, Victor's Cafe and M Social Hotel. Photos and videos from the block party flooded Twitter and gave thousands of theatre goers a rush of excitement - marking the true return of Broadway!
