Gov. Cuomo announced this earlier this week
On March 29th, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that New Yorkers above the age of 30 will be able to get the vaccine starting this past Tuesday, the 30th. Additionally, he stated that all New Yorkers above the age of 16 will be able to get their dose starting April 6th. This is a massive step in the right direction! More vaccines means we're getting closer to a state of normalcy.

Allowing more of the New York population to get vaccinated helps get those Broadway testing sites up and running and allows for more theatre workers to get back to work.
Brandon Lorenz, a spokesperson for Actor's Equity said, “The sooner residents are vaccinated, the sooner theater can return, driving the state’s entire economic recovery...we look forward to working with the city of New York on its program for testing and vaccines and will continue to advocate for testing and vaccines for arts workers all around the country as part of our recovery from the pandemic...” (Lorenz for Broadway News).
Have you gotten your vaccine yet? Are you looking forward to getting it?
