The pie shop is opening back up! It was announced at 9:00 a.m. today that WAITRESS is coming back to Broadway this year for a limited run at the Ethel Barrymore Theater!
Sara Bareilles will star as Jenna for a small portion of the run!
The show's social media accounts posted a vague photo of a box of "baking supplies" outside of a theater yesterday, prompting people to keep an eye on their page. This morning, their accounts continued to tease the return by tweeting lyrics from the musical. Then, at 9:00 a.m., a short teaser video was released announcing the musical's return! Casting for the upcoming run is still not known, aside from Sara Bareilles who will play Jenna from September 2 - October 17.
